ISID Welcomes Sarah Claire Loeb as Project Coordinator

The International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) is pleased to announce Sarah Claire joined the ISID team as a Project Coordinator in May 2021. She is a graduate of Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she studied Community Health and Art. Sarah Claire came to the Society first as an intern in January 2021, contributing to the ongoing ProMED COVID-19 data curation process and worked on the newly established ISID-Pfizer 2021 Grant Challenge. She joined the MRIIDS 2.0 team, assisting international collaborators in developing infectious disease outbreak forecasting tools. Over the coming months, she will spearhead ISID’s collaboration with partners in the European Union, working on the MOOD project (Monitoring Outbreak Events for Disease Surveillance), grant challenges, and the IMED 2021 research conference.
