Christopher Widmer joins ISID Team as Senior Manager of Operations

The International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) is pleased to announce Christopher Widmer has joined the headquarters’ team as Senior Manager of Operations on August 30, 2021. Christopher has over 25 years of programmatic and operational experience. Prior to joining ISID, Christopher managed the contracting, invoicing and project management functions for the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST). Prior to CHEST, Christopher served as the Director of the Ryan White program for the Chicago Eligible Metropolitan Areawith an annual budget of over $28 million which provided healthcare and support services to over 16,000 patient/clients in nine counties in the State of Illinois. Christopher additionally developed and implemented international healthcare consulting projects while at Joint Commission International in cooperation with several US federal agencies, European, Saudi Arabian and East Asian healthcare agencies, ministries and providers. Christopher holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Marquette University. Welcome to the team, Christopher!
