About this Journal

An official publication of the International Society for Infectious Diseases, the International Journal of Infectious Diseases One Health (IJID OH) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research and perspectives related to One Health. IJID OH features updates, commentaries, and scholarly work from leaders, visionaries, and organizations using a One-Health approach.

The aim of IJID OH is to advance scientific knowledge related to the connections between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment. As a platform for the presentation and discussion of scholarly one-health information, the scope of IJID OH traverses domains of human, clinical, and veterinary diagnostics, surveillance, epidemiology, public health responses, innovations, and interventions.

The journal is committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment, working closely with authors to improve their articles and ensure they are ready for publication.
