In 2018, the ISID Guide to infection Control in the Healthcare Setting was selected from among a very competitive pool to participate in the IBM Patterns Incubator program. ISID proposed that the incubator project focus on developing a personalized interactive, digital 6th Edition of the Guide taking into consideration user feedback obtained from more than 1,100 healthcare workers from 194 countries who currently use the Guide to Infection Control. While the Guide serves as an important resource, personalized recommendations based on available facility and personnel resources would make it essential. The Incubator team successfully designed, developed and tested a mobile support tool for healthcare workers in resource-limited settings based off ISID’s Guide to Infection Control that allows the healthcare workers to tailor the tool to their individualized needs. In order to implement this groundbreaking project, we are looking for funding. We need your support!
